Dear dance and music enthusiasts,

The journey of our beloved dance and music show has been one of highs and lows, challenges and triumphs, creativity and unity. As we gather here today, I am compelled to share the story of how our vibrant community was faced with unexpected setbacks, yet how we are emerging stronger, more united, and ready to reclaim our place on the stage.

Our story began in July 2016, with just two events: “The Dance Contest” and the enchanting “Sing and Play” event. These gatherings swiftly captured hearts and imaginations, inspiring a wave of creative energy that led to the birth of “Dance and Have Fun” and “Keep Fit and Have Fun” events. Under my guidance as organiser, Donatello, our dance and music show blossomed into a lively platform for expression, diversity and shared joy.

However, around two years ago, a cloud of uncertainty began to cast a shadow over our community. Our events, once supported by the Steemit team and other curators, suddenly found themselves without the backing they once enjoyed. The reasons behind this shift remain unknown to this day, leaving us bewildered and disheartened.

But adversity often reveals our true strength. Just as we were coming to terms with the dwindling support, an unfortunate event struck the heart of our show—the hacking of my Facebook account, and with it, the loss of control over the “Dance and Music Show” Facebook page. This was the final blow that tested our resolve and unity, leaving us vulnerable and unsure of the road ahead.

Yet, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, our dance and music show is slowly but surely piecing itself back together. We may have stumbled, but our spirit remains unbreakable. We have found supporters who believe in our cause and who understand the power of art, music, and dance to bring people together. And so, we take the first steps towards revival.

Today, I invite all of you—dancers, musicians, artists, and enthusiasts—to join hands once again. Our community needs you, your talents, your passion. Our dance floor, once filled with vibrant performances, is eager to pulse with life once more. The echoes of melodies and the rhythm of dance await your presence.

For those who stood by us, your dedication is deeply appreciated. For those who are new to our story, we welcome you with open arms. Let’s come together, let’s rebuild, and let’s create something even more extraordinary than before.
